Kurhaus Kranz
Zelenogradsk, Kurortny Ave, 16
The current Kurhaus building in Zelenogradsk, historically known as Grosses Logier und Neues Kurhaus, was built in 1904, and the "Neues Kurhaus" hotel complex opened for vacationers on June 16 of the same year. Since the late 1940s, one of the buildings of the "Zelenogradsk" sanatorium has been located in the building. In a small park behind the former Kurhaus, where a military orchestra once played, there is a monument to Queen Louise, and according to legend, an elm tree planted by Friedrich Wilhelm IV in 1843 grows there.
