Raiffeisen Savings Bank Building

Zelenogradsk, Pogranichnaya St, 2

A two-story rectangular building with an attic and a gabled tiled roof was built in Cranz at the beginning of the 20th century. Until the end of World War II, it housed a savings bank and the Raiffeisen bank, and in 1945, the headquarters of the 292nd Regiment of Lieutenant Colonel Yakov Petrovich Marshavin was located on the second floor, from where a report on the capture of the city was sent. The northwest façade at the second-floor level is decorated with eight belts and a triangular pediment. The facades, made of solid red ceramic brick and plastered, along with the roof, were renovated in 2021.
