Kranz Post Office

29 Kurortny Ave, Zelenogradsk

The post office building in Zelenogradsk is located at 29 Kurortny Prospekt and is an object of cultural heritage of local significance. In the oval niche of the central risalit of the northern facade of the building, there was previously the coat of arms of East Prussia, and the stepped window sills are lined with green glazed tiles. The window openings have segmental arches, and the facades are decorated with windowsill, interfloor, and crowning cornices. As of 2024, options for using the service building as a shop, a branch of a bakery, or a mini-museum were being considered, while the administration issued a permit for emergency repairs and roof renovation of the auxiliary building.
