Ali Shogentsukov Monument

In the center of Nalchik there is a monument to Kabardian poet and writer Ali Shogentsukov. There is also a memorial apartment-monument where the atmosphere of his working office and living rooms is recreated. The exhibition includes the writer's personal belongings, manuscripts and books stored in the museum attached to the national theater named after him. The memorial exposition is maintained by the National Museum of Kabardino-Balkariya. Ali Shogentsukov is recognized as a classic of Kabardian literature and an important figure in the development of Kabardian poetry and drama.
