Kabardino-Balkar State Philharmonic named after B.H. Temirkanov

Kabardino-Balkar State Philharmonic named after B.H. Temirkanov is located in Nalchik, on Shogentsukov Avenue, 28. Having opened in February 1943, it became home to the small symphonic orchestra whose history dates back to the chamber ensemble of the regional radio committee from the 1930s. It was here in summer 1966 that Yuri Temirkanov worked.
