Vvedensky Monastery

Vvedensky women's monastery was founded on March 27, 1991 by Archimandrite Vlasii (Yurasov) in the center of Ivanovo city. The main church is an architectural monument from the beginning of the 20th century designed by Pyotr Begene and built with donations from the Derbenev family. The monastery belongs to the Ivanovo-Voznesenskaya eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church.
