Uspenskaya Church

Uspenskaya Church in the city of Ivanovo is situated on the Novy Posad Cemetery. This cell-style temple was reconstructed in 2022 following a tragic fire that destroyed its historic wooden structure in November 2015. Initially constructed towards the end of the 17th-early 18th centuries, it was the sole remaining example of ancient Russian wooden architecture in Ivanovo. The present-day temple was erected precisely at the same location based on earlier measurements.
