Uspenskaya Church

The Успенская church in the city of Ivanovo is located on the Novy Posadski cemetery. This cell-type temple was restored in 2022 after a tragic fire destroyed the historical wooden building in November 2015. Originally built at the end of the 17th - early 18th century, it was the only surviving monument of ancient Russian wooden architecture in Ivanovo. The current version of the temple was built strictly on the original site according to old measurements.
