Preobrazhenskaya Church

Preobrazhenskaya church in Ivanovo was founded in 1889 and consecrated in 1893 on donations from manufacturer Mikhail Nikolaevich Garelin. For more than forty years it remained the only active Orthodox cathedral of the city. Today it is one of the most recognizable churches of Ivanovo.
