The "Bullet Building" is located on Lenina Avenue in Ivanovo and is a notable example of constructivist architecture. Built between 1930-1932 by architect N.I. Kadnikov for OGPU organs, it got its nickname due to its unusual shape resembling a bullet. After the devastating fire in 2008, the building is in ruins but remains a symbol of dark pages of Stalinist repressions.
