House-ship

Friedman's Ship House in Ivanovo is an outstanding example of constructivist architecture built in 1929-1930. The building's exterior resembles a ship with its sloping front part symbolizing the bow and the tall tower at the other end representing the stern. It is one of the most striking manifestations of constructivism in Russia.
