Central Jumah Mosque of Machakha

Central Juma Mosque in Makhachkala - the city's main Friday mosque. Located at Dakhadayeva St., 136. This is a large architectural object with white facades and two tall minarets inspired by Ottoman tradition and architecture of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The mosque serves as an important religious center and cultural symbol of Makhachkala, being part of the main city tour routes. Its construction was carried out in the 1990s with financial support from a Turkish family.
