Center for Ethnic Culture

The Center for Ethnic Culture in Makhachkala opened in 2012 on Prospekt Pyotra I, 23. Dedicated to traditional culture and crafts of the peoples of Dagestan, it offers visitors exhibitions, concerts and workshops on the second floor. The building is decorated with patterns resembling Dagestani carpets. One can see carpets, silver jewelry, ceramics, Kaitag embroidery and Untsukul products here. The center introduces tourists to the richness of local culture right in the capital of the republic.
