City History Museum of Makhachkala

Dagestan Republic Museum of City History is located in Ak-Gel Park near "Russian Teacher" Memorial Complex. It introduces visitors to the development of Makhachkala from its founding as Pyotrovsk to the present day. The exhibition includes cityscape, architecture, life of residents and significant historical events of the region. The museum's opening was timed with important dates in the city's history.
