Atlas House

The building with atlantes is located on Daniilova Street in Makhachkala and is a bright example of pre-revolutionary architecture of Pyotrovsk-Port. The building stands out due to its facade decorated with decorative atlantes supporting the balcony. Today, it houses the National Museum of the Republic of Dagestan named after A. Taho-Godi, making it an important cultural site of the city. This building allows one to peek into the rare preserved layer of old Makhachkala.
