Suleiman Stalsky Boulevard

Suleiman Stalski Boulevard in Makhachkala runs from the City Garden to the Avar Drama Theatre named after Gamzat Tsadagas. Here lies the grave of famous Lezgian poet Suleiman Stalski whose name the area bears. In 1949, a statue of the poet was installed on the boulevard. The park was laid out after his burial in 1937 and subsequently renamed Suleiman Stalski Boulevard. The locality is a federal level cultural heritage site.
