Cheboksary Hero City Monument

The Cheboksary Monument "Cheboksary - City of Labor Valor" is situated on Kommunalnaya Sloboda Street near the city's main post office. The opening took place on December 24, 2021. The monument's author is Denis Anatolyevich Stritovich. Relief scenes depicting city residents working at factories and plants during World War II are engraved on the stele. Cheboksary was awarded the title "City of Labor Valor" by a decree of the President of Russia dated May 20, 2021.
