Chapayev Monument

The monument to V.I. Chapaev is installed in Cheboksary, in Chapaev Square near Lenina Avenue. It is dedicated to the legendary hero of the Civil War, born in these places. The sculpture was made in Moscow and previously stood on VDNH. The monument was opened on June 23, 1960 and is a federal cultural heritage site. It is part of the memorial complex of Chapaev Museum.
