Chapayev Monument

The monument to V.I. Chapayev is located in Cheboksary, in Chapaev Square near Lenina Avenue. It is dedicated to a hero of the Civil War who was born here. The sculpture depicts riding Chapayev and is part of a stable city route introducing visitors to the city's history. Originally, the monument was at VDNH in Moscow.
