Ivan the Terrible Monument in Ivanovsky Skver

In Cheboksary, on the Volga riverbank, in the historical park named after poet Konstantin Ivanov, there stands a monument to Ivan the Terrible. It was opened in 2019 to commemorate the 550th anniversary of the founding of Cheboksary city. The sculpture symbolizes the creation of the Cheboksary uyezd under Ivan the Fourth and is an important part of the city's history.
