Chapaev Museum

The V.I. Chapaev Museum is located in Cheboksary on Lenina Avenue, 46A. It is dedicated to the life and military career of Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev, who was born in this city. The memorial complex includes a horseback statue of Chapaev. After the 2018-2022 renovations, the exhibition has been enriched with a landscape model of Cheboksary and a copper repoussé panel "Combat Operations of Chapaev's Division". Nearby, there is a reconstructed house of the Chapaev family, opened in 1986.
