Mikhail Cecpele Museum

The Museum of Mikhail Tsessel is located in Cheboksary at Tsessel Street, 8. It is dedicated to the life and work of Chuvash poet Mikhail Tsessel, opening on November 25, 2003 as a branch of the Chuvash National Museum. The house where the museum is situated used to belong to merchant S.V. Cherkasov and it was here that the poet worked as a translator in 1921. An exhibition with a photo panorama of Cheboksary at that time is also displayed there.
