Chuvash Republic State Puppet Theatre

The Chuvash State Puppet Theatre is situated at President Boulevard, 15 in Cheboksary. Established in 1943 as a touring theatre in Yadrin, it became a professional theatre in January 1945. It combines European traditions with Chuvash motifs. The theatre has created over 200 productions, including shows for children from one year old. Its founder was director Sergey Merzlyakov.
