Chuvash State Philharmonic

The Chuvash State Philharmonic was founded in 1936 and is situated at President Boulevard, 9 in Cheboksary. It has played an important role in developing regional musical art, incorporating the Chuvash State Choir and symphony orchestra into its ensemble. Later, the choir became the Song and Dance Ensemble. Today, the philharmonic continues to promote classical music, contemporary trends and traditional Chuvash performance practices.
