Cheboksary River Port

Cheboksary River Port is located in the center of Cheboksary near Volga and Cheboksary Bay. Founded as early as the 15th century, it has a long history of developing the Volga River route. Since 1968, it has been an official river port of the Volga Union. Cargo and passenger transportation is carried out, cargo processing takes place, and extraction of non-metallic construction materials occurs here. The port serves two piers in Cheboksary and Novocheboksarsk.
