Swedish Успенский монастырь

Svensky Uspensky Monastery is located in Suponevo village near Bryansk, next to Desna River. Founded in the Middle Ages, it is known for its venerated icon of Our Lady and considered the main Orthodox shrine of Bryansk region. Today, the monastery attracts pilgrims and tourists with its unique architecture and historical significance, being an important cultural site of the region.
