Покровская церковь

Покровская church in Ufa is located at Mingazheva Street, 4. It is one of the oldest stone churches in the city, built in the early 19th century. Until the 1940s, it was a military warehouse, but after closing it reopened in 1957. The church's feature is an icon of the Image Not Made by Human Hands painted by artist Anatoly Lezhnev. The church survived during the mass destruction of Orthodox shrines and is an architectural monument.
