First Ufa Cathedral Mosque

The First Ufa Cathedral Mosque is situated at Tukayev Street, 52 in Ufa. Built in 1830, it is the oldest functioning mosque in the city. It houses a relic - hairs from the prophet Muhammad's beard. The mosque operated continuously even during Soviet years, being the sole active Islamic temple in Ufa. The minaret height is 19 meters. Previously, there was a medrese named "Gusmania" associated with it.
