Majit Gafuri Memorial House-Museum

The Memorial House-Museum of Majit Gafuri is located at Ufa, Golodya Street, 28. The house where Bashkir folk poet lived from 1923 to 1934 became a branch of the National Literary Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan after opening in 1948. Here the atmosphere of the poet's apartment has been recreated: living room, bedroom and working office are decorated with furnishings of that time. In front of the building there is a statue of Gafuri near the Bashkir Academic Drama Theatre.
