Mourning Mother Memorial

Memorial "Weeping Mother" in Park Pobedy Ufa dedicated to soldiers from Bashkortostan who died in various military conflicts. The complex was designed by Ufa sculptor Nikolay Alexandrovich Kalinushkin. Around the monument there are two granite slabs made of black granite, each consisting of 60 plates. On them are engraved the names of 685 deceased soldiers. The memorial was opened on October 25, 2003 and includes an individual list covering losses since 1951. It is located in the park area of Chernikova, within the Park Pobedy in Orjonikidzevsky district of the city.
