Lilya Tulip Mosque-Medressa

The "Lilya-Tulpan" Mosque-Medressa is situated in Ufa on Komarova Street. The building was opened in 1998 after construction from 1989 according to architect V.V. Davlyatshin's project. It is not merely a place for prayer but also a cultural and educational center offering courses on the Quran and spirituality. The roof resembles an unfurled tulip symbolizing freshness and chastity among Turkic peoples. Inside, the mosque's interior features crystal chandeliers and stained glass windows. Adjacent is Victory Park. Construction was funded through donations from over 200 local residents.
