Tetyushinov Mansion Museum and Cultural Center

The Museum and Cultural Center "Tetyushinov Merchant's House" is located in Astrakhan on Kommunisticheskaya Street, 26. The building, built in 1872 in the Russian-orthodox style, is a monument of Russian wooden architecture. The mansion is decorated with elaborate wooden carvings resembling carved towers. Since 1995, the house has been included in the list of federal-level historical and cultural heritage sites. The center opened in September 2010 and represents an interesting example of provincial XIX-century architecture.
