Museum of Military Glory

The Museum of Military Glory in Astrakhan is located in a historical building constructed between 1906-1907 by architect Victor Varganek-Waldovsky. It is a federal historic and architectural monument. The museum features exhibits recounting the heroic deeds of Astrakhan residents during World War II. There are nine halls with over 3,500 exhibits occupying all three floors. The first exhibition was opened here in 1975.
