Velimir Khlebnikov Museum-Residence

The Velimir Khlebnikov House-Museum in Astrakhan opened in 1993 and is the sole museum dedicated to this poet. The exhibition is based on the family collection of the Khlebnikovs: it includes books from the poet's personal library, his photographs, first editions and personal belongings. Located in the historical building of former Polakow's income house where once lived the parents of Velimir Khlebnikov. The museum actively organizes international events, being an important literary attraction of the city.
