B.M. Kustodiev Museum-Reserve

B.M. Kustodieva House-Museum is located in Astrakhan at Kalinina Street, 26. It opened in 2002 and is housed in a historical building that was formerly Moiseev merchant's house, which is an architectural monument of late XIX — early XX century. The collection includes genuine paintings, graphics and sculptures by the artist, as well as personal belongings and documents of the painter and his family. Visitors learn about the life and work of famous Astrakhan native Boris Kustodiev, known for his paintings on themes of Russian antiquity and folk life.
