Astrakhan Puppet Theatre

The Astrakhan Puppet Theatre opened in December 1986 and made its debut on the stage of the Officers' House in the Astrakhan Kremlin in 1987. Currently, it is located in the historical building of the former Russian Asian Bank, which is an architectural monument of the early 20th century. Over the course of its existence, the theater has presented more than 80 premier performances for audiences of all ages. Additionally, the theater annually hosts the International Caspianc Coast Puppet Theaters Festival.
