TriumphalArch
Благовещенск, площадь Победы
The Triumphal Arch in Blagoveshchensk is located on Victory Square. It was built in the Russian architectural style and symbolizes the city. The original arch was destroyed during the Soviet period but was reconstructed in the 2000s at its original site. The arch was erected to commemorate the visit of Tsarevich Nikolay Alexandrovich in 1891, who later became Emperor Nikolay II. Today it reminds us of a significant historical event and connects the city with the future Russian monarch's journey through the Far East.
