Покровский кафедральный собор

The Покровский cathedral is located in Barnaul at Nikitina street, 137. It is a three-naved church consecrated to the Feast of the Archangel Mikhail, Alexander Nevsky and Panteleimon the Healer. The cathedral is built in pseudo-Russian style from red brick and was constructed with private donations instead of an old wooden church from 1863. It was consecrated in 1904, construction began in 1898. Since the 1940s, the cathedral has borne the title of cathedral.
