Pokrovskiy cathedral Cathedral

The Pokrovsky Cathedral is located in Barnaul on Nikitina Street, 137. It is a three-nave church consecrated to the Feast of the Archangel Mikhail, Alexander Nevsky, and Panteleimon the Healer. The cathedral is built in the pseudo-Russian style using red bricks and was constructed with private donations replacing an old wooden church from 1863. It was consecrated in 1904; construction started in 1898. Since the 1940s, the cathedral has carried the title of cathedral.
