"Museum of Stone World"

The "World of Stone" Museum is located in the historical center of Barnaul, at Polzunov Street, 39. Founded by entrepreneur Sergey Berger in 2010, it became the first public geological and mineralogical museum in the city. The exhibition includes ancient fossils up to 2 billion years old, precious and semi-precious stones, minerals, rocks, as well as works by local masters from natural stone. The museum building is a XIX-century architectural monument and is situated near the State Philharmonic Hall, Regional Studies Museum and Central Park.
