Young Theatre of Altai named after V.S. Zolotukhin

The Youth Theatre of Altai named after V.S. Zolotukhin is located in Barnaul on Kalinina Avenue. Founded in 1958 as the Altai Regional Young People's Theatre, it was later renamed the Youth Theatre of Altai. The theatre has its own building built in 2011 after the reconstruction of the Melange Combine's Cultural Centre. There is a museum dedicated to Valery Zolotukhin at the theatre with unique exhibits. A nationwide theatrical festival in his name takes place every two years. In 2022, the theater entered the top ten most popular regional attractions according to Yandex.Puteshestviya ratings.
