Museum of Memory of Victims of Political Repressions in Dolinka

The Dolinka Museum of Memory for Victims of Political Repressions is located in the former administrative building of Kargalag, one of the largest labor camps of GULAG. Opened in 2002, it is dedicated to the fates of prisoners, camp life and repressions of the 20th century. Here you can learn about the daily lives of inmates, living conditions and tragic history of the region. The museum has become an important memorial point for Karaganda and its surroundings.
