Bekaizi-Dandybayevsky Megalithic Mausoleums

Begazy-Dandybaev archaeological complex of megalithic mausoleums is located in Aktogay district, Karaganda region. It consists of elite burial structures from Bronze Age built with large stone slabs. These monuments reflect high level of social organization and building culture of late Bronze Age associated with Begazy-Dandybay culture of Central Kazakhstan. For city of Karaganda this object is one of the most significant regional archaeological sites.
