Karahana Mausoleum

Kara Khana Mausoleum is located in the historical center of Taraz and is a monument of XI-century architecture. The building has retained its original appearance due to restoration, although it has undergone several reconstructions. This significant structure is associated with the legendary story of love between Aysha-Bibi and Kara Khan, ruler of the Karakhanid state. Today, the mausoleum is part of the ancient city complex and forms part of the tourist route through the old town.
