Central State Museum of Kazakhstan

Central State Museum of Kazakhstan in Almaty is located at Samal-1 microdistrict, 44. Founded in 1931, it is among the largest museums of the republic. Collections include archaeological finds, ethnography items and historical artifacts. Special attention is given to halls of historical ethnography, paleontology and archaeology, as well as an exhibition dedicated to the Golden Horde. Visitors can view digital models of some exhibits. The museum's collection comprises hundreds of thousands of objects.
