Copa Lake

Lake Kopá is located near Kokshetau city and is an important part of the local natural landscape. It is fed by rivers Kylshaktý and Shagalaly and belongs to Ishím river basin. The lake's area is approximately 14 sq. km. Its shores are popular among city dwellers for walks and recreation due to picturesque views and nearby hills that give the lake a special symbolic status in the appearance of Kokshetau.
