Open-Air Museum "Bota-Burabay"

Open-air museum "Botay-Buraibai" is located in Akmola region near Astana - Kokshetau highway. It is dedicated to Botay culture and early history of steppe horse breeding related to domestication of horses. Museum exhibits reconstructions of dwellings, everyday life and material culture of ancient steppe societies, complementing regional sports infrastructure with unique archaeological and ethnographic layer.
