Georgian Art Museum

The Georgian Museum of Fine Arts is situated in Tbilisi on Lado Gudiashvili Street. It is part of the system of the Georgian National Museum and focuses on art from Georgia and other countries. Unique exhibits include medieval Georgian metalwork, Russian, European and Eastern artistic works. The collection features chased icons, enamels, jewelry and ancient manuscripts. Named after renowned art historian Shalva Amirelashvili, the museum has a rich history dating back to the founding of the National Art Gallery in 1920.
