The Statue of Medea is situated on Europe Square in the center of Batumi. The monument created in 2007 by sculptor David Khmaladze depicts the heroine of ancient Greek myth holding the golden fleece. The uniqueness of the sculpture lies in the fact that the golden fleece is made from real gold.
