Bethlehem Cathedral

The Cathedral of Christmas Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in Batumi, Georgia. Dedicated in 1989. The building is executed in neo-gothic style with three naves and built from 1897 to 1902 by brothers Zubalashvili. Initially used as a Catholic church, then transferred to the Orthodox Church in 1980. Since 2011 it has been a cultural heritage site. During the Soviet era served as an archive and laboratory.
