Apollo Cinema

Apollo Cinema is situated at the intersection of Agmashenebeli and Kargareteli streets in Batumi. It is a three-story building designed in the Art Nouveau style with large arched windows and decorative elements such as plaster garlands, wreaths and relief figures. The cinema's history spans over a century; it operated under its original name since 1909. During Soviet times, it was renamed "October," but later returned to its historical name Apollo. Cultural events and charitable salons were also held there.
