Batumi Lighthouse

Batumi Lighthouse is situated in Batumi city, Adjara, Georgia. Its light can be seen about 27 kilometers away. The building also serves as a workplace for hydrographic service where weather conditions are monitored around-the-clock. Originally built in 1863, the current version was constructed with French experts' involvement in 1882. The structure's height is 21 meters. It is an important element of the city's maritime facade.
