Kamikaze Caves (Lamma)
Outlying Islands, Sok Kwu Wan, path between Lo So Shing and Sok Kwu Wan
Kamikaze Caves — former military structures from the Japanese occupation period of Hong Kong, situated between Lososhing and Sokkwang villages on Lamma Island. These artificial caves were built by the Japanese for basements of "shin'yo" boats equipped with powerful explosives. Today the cave has become part of the island's tourist route but most of the structures are closed off and inaccessible to visitors.
